Artists & Uploads

Your guide to uploading music, getting verified, and managing your artist presence on Rythme.

How do I become an artist on Rythme?

If you're a creator and want to distribute music, launch NFTs, or tokenize your fanbase:

Step-by-step:

  1. Sign up or log in to rythme.io

  2. Go to the Artist Dashboard

  3. Click “Apply for Artist Access”

  4. Submit:

    • Artist name and genre tags

    • Profile image, banner, and bio

    • Links to at least 2 public artist profiles (Spotify, YouTube, etc.)

Approval is typically processed within 48–72 hours, unless more verification is required.

What is artist verification, and do I need it?

Artist verification unlocks advanced features and builds trust with fans. It gives you:

  • A blue checkmark next to your name

  • Priority visibility in search, playlists, and charts

  • Access to premium tools (e.g. token launchpad, on-chain royalties)

Unverified artists can still upload music, but won't be featured in curated sections or eligible for promotional campaigns.

What kind of files can I upload?

Rythme supports:

File Type
Description

.mp3

Standard streaming audio

.flac

Lossless high-quality format

.wav

High-resolution uncompressed audio

Max file size per track: 50MB

You can also add:

  • Cover artwork (.jpg, .png, recommended: 3000x3000)

  • Track metadata (title, genre, BPM, mood)

  • Lyrics (for synced display, optional)

Can I upload NFTs or token drops?

Yes — once verified, artists can:

  • Mint NFTs (songs, visuals, exclusive content)

  • Launch an ERC-20 token via our multichain launchpad

  • Tie music releases to token ownership or referral campaigns

For help setting these up, contact the Rythme team or visit the Token & NFT Creator Guide.

Can I co-manage my artist profile with a manager?

Yes. Once you’re verified, you can link a manager account to your artist profile.

Your manager can:

  • Upload tracks

  • Edit your bio

  • Track revenue and analytics

  • Coordinate NFT/token drops

You remain the owner and can revoke access at any time.

Who owns the rights to my music?

You do. Rythme does not claim ownership of your content. Artists retain:

  • Full copyright

  • Creative control

  • Royalty revenue

Your tracks are hosted securely and only removed by your request or in violation of terms (e.g., copyright infringement claims).
